SLI Systems Co-founders and Brothers Receive NZ Engineering Entrepreneurs of the Year Award
New Zealand Engineering Excellence Awards recognise Dr. Shaun Ryan and Dr. Grant Ryan for their contribution to business creation in New Zealand

The award, announced this evening at the New Zealand Engineering Excellence Awards™ (NZEEA) dinner at the Pullman Hotel in Auckland, recognises the significant contribution the Ryan brothers have made to business creation in New Zealand.
NZEEA Chief Panel Judge Steve Reindler highlighted the Ryan brothers’ development of SLI Systems and the innovation of the company’s site search solutions that have been adopted by over 500 e-commerce companies worldwide. He also mentioned their founding of SLI’s predecessor GlobalBrain and Grant’s independent engineering ventures including the innovative electric cycle visit YikeBike™.
